Job Responsibilities

Plan, develop, and manage the clinical programs, services, activities, and employees of the agency.
Assist with oversight of the agency’s growth related to home care.
Serve as the clinical expert and assist with operational and financial management of the agency.
Investigate and take appropriate actions on client/consumer complaints.
Participate in recruiting, hiring, and identifying training needs of clinical staff.
Evaluate programs and services regularly to identify opportunities for improvement.
Conduct regular client home visits to ensure quality of care and performs home visits as needed.
Ensure client compliance with federal/state regulations through administration of policies and procedures to staff.
Supervise all clinical staff (RN/LPN/CNA) and perform annual employee evaluations.
Oversee case management to ensure services are financially sound.
Manage caseload as needed for client coverage.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Experience with home health and HCHB
OASIS knowledge
Strong management and leadership capabilities
Clinical assessment and evaluation skills

Preferred Skills

3+ years RN experience in a healthcare setting (home health or hospice)
Medicare Skilled Nursing experience
Basic understanding of OASIS

Requirements

Experience: 3+ years RN experience in a healthcare setting (home health or hospice)

Education: Associate's degree required

License & Certification:

Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice
CPR certification
