Job Title: Clinical Nurse Manager

Position: Oversee the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) program

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 per year

Shift: Monday to Friday, Weekends as needed

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise nursing staff, organize training, and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Engage with AZDDD, review incident reports, coordinate recertifications, and ensure 60-day reviews for LPN-led cases.
  • Collaborate with the Administrator on policies, strategic planning, and QAPI initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
  • Oversee pain management protocols, advanced nursing practices (e.g., G-tube, vent care), and thorough charting using EMR systems.
  • Conduct recertifications, Start of Care (SOC), and Resumption of Care (ROC) as needed.
  • Audit and perform chart audits for nurses to ensure compliance and quality standards.
  • Oversee nursing training, skills assessments, and competency checks.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to support business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee requests and follow up on medical records from hospitals and healthcare providers.
  • Review incident reports and contribute to Quality Assurance and Program Improvement (QAPI).
  • Oversee/Conduct patient record reviews and attend ISP meetings on an as-needed basis.
  • Orient new nurses to client-specific care requirements.
  • Interview nurses and strategically align skills, placement, and scheduling for optimal patient care.
  • Provide on-call support occasionally as needed.

Required Skills

Core Skills

  • Registered Nurse license in Arizona
  • 1 year of RN experience in the last 3 years (home health or related field a plus)
  • Supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of the DDD program or developmental disability care
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Comfortable with regulatory compliance (e.g., AZDDD, AZBN) and advanced nursing procedures
