Job Responsibilities

Perform a variety of cardiovascular procedures to provide an efficient, comfortable, and safe examination of all patients.
Supervise staff and department activities that provide service to all patients.
Responsible for the efficiency, effectiveness, and utilization of the procedural area, staff, and equipment.
Maintain a smooth and cost-effective patient flow.
Serve as administrative liaison to patients and physicians.
Accountable for tracking patient charges and maintaining various records of documentation.
Oversee inventory management and supplies.
Actively participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Proficient in all three procedural roles (circulate, monitor, scrub) in cardiac or electrophysiology laboratories
Strong leadership and management skills
Ability to enforce safety regulations and hospital policies

Preferred Skills

One year of lead experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience in Cardiovascular Lab, Interventional Radiology Lab, Peripheral Lab, or Electrophysiology Lab

Requirements

Experience: One year of lead experience preferred

Education: Associate degree or Bachelor's in Cardiovascular Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy

License & Certification:

Current valid State of Florida or multi-state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
Radiologic Technologist [R.T.(R)]
Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
Nationally Registered Paramedic (NREMT-P)
