Job Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status, identify behavioral health needs, and develop individualized care plans.
Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for side effects, and provide education on medication management specific to psychiatric conditions.
Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, implement crisis intervention strategies, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Experience in geriatric and/or adult psych and substance abuse disorders nursing

Requirements

Experience: A minimum of 1 year of Behavioral Health nursing experience is required.

Education: Completion of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

License & Certification:

Current Connecticut registered nurse licensure
BLS or CPR Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Schedule:

Full Time-36 Hour Nights
12 Hour Shift
Every other Weekend/Holiday
