Job Responsibilities
- Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in clinical care using evidence-based practice.
- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care consistent with population-specific characteristics (e.g., age, gender, disease).
- Partner with the patient and significant others using appropriate methods (e.g., bedside shift report, interdisciplinary rounds).
- Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care.
- Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration that promotes recruitment and retention of healthcare team members.
- Support performance improvement initiatives, research utilization, and shared governance.
- Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education.
- Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses and students.
- Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement activities.
- Uphold healthcare system/organizational policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with standards.
- Proactively plan for the care of patients across the care continuum.
- Participate in developing protocols and procedures in collaboration with care managers.

Requirements
Experience: Less than 1 year of required direct patient care experience.
Education: Associates Nursing or Bachelor's Nursing (Preferred).
License & Certification:
- Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Instructor
