Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs.
Assess patient’s condition and triage patient phone calls.
Counsel patients and provide patient education.
Take patient histories and administer prescribed medications.
Change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor patient vital signs.
Document patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
Ensure own professional effectiveness through education and professional development.
Participate in the development of and maintain established policies, procedures and objectives.
Contribute to quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection prevention programs.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Registered Nurse in state of practice
Basic Life Support
Basic computer skills including MS Office applications
Effective prioritization skills
Ability to provide health education to patients, staff and community
Knowledge of Medicare, JCAHO, DNV & HCFA regulations pertaining to ambulatory care
Demonstrated knowledge of age specific principles of growth and development

Experience: 1 year preferred

Education: Accredited School of Nursing Required
