Job Responsibilities
- Administers patient care in ambulatory care and post-acute transitional care settings.
- Utilizes knowledge and skills in ambulatory care nursing to promote wellness and restore health.
- Assesses patients’ needs and develops individualized care plans based on ambulatory care nursing knowledge.
- Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development principles relevant to patient care.
- Prescribes, delegates, coordinates, and documents patient care effectively.
- Ensures patient assessment, education, medication administration, treatments, and safety.
- Demonstrates competency in nursing skills and use of unit-specific equipment.
- Prioritizes patient care in line with Evidence-Based Practice Standards.
- Identifies and resolves problems effectively.
- Delegates tasks in accordance with patient needs and team member capabilities.
- Communicates patient condition and unit concerns to health care team members.
- Maintains a safe and caring environment for patients and families.
- Integrates patient and family education throughout care delivery.
- Participates in process improvement activities.
- Maintains awareness of legal issues, patients' rights, and compliance with standards.
- Maintains regular, punctual attendance as per policies.
- Complies with all policies and procedures of Orlando Health.

Requirements
Experience: 1 year experience
