Job Responsibilities

Coordinates functions and activities related to a single departmental function.
Responsible for a clinic unit.
Coordinates the scheduling efforts of the unit RN's.
Acts as a liaison to internal and external customers.
Responsible for developing and implementing plans/processes for meeting regulatory requirements.
Trains and mentors staff.

Required Skills

Preferred Skills

Management experience.
Certification in specialty area of practice.

Requirements

Experience: Two years relevant clinical nursing experience; minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience for Level II EQ only.

Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.

License & Certification:

License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona.
CPR.
ACLS as applicable.
PALS or ENPC for ER required or must obtain within ninety days.
NRP required for Post-partum, Nursery, L&D upon orientation completion.
Wound-Ostomy Certification or Training in Wound Care and/or Ostomy Care for Wound Care specialty.
