Job Responsibilities
- Engage staff in decision making through shared governance processes.
- Support the nurse manager in providing leadership and management skills for the specific unit.
- Represent the organization positively to the community.
- Support charge nurses and other nurse leaders to promote effective delivery of care.
- Assist with budget development and monitor fiscal outcomes.
- Apply lean and quality skills to reduce waste and improve performance.
- Communicate effectively with a diverse workforce and mentor others.
- Create opportunities for self and staff growth.
- Promote staff competency in clinical care delivery.
- Ensure compliance with corporate standards and clinical competencies.
- Participate in continuing education to advance knowledge and skills.
- Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement.
- Identify areas of staff and clinical systems performance improvement.

Requirements
Experience: Minimum 3 years of clinical experience
Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Master's degree in Nursing
License & Certification:
- Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Instructor
- National certification in nursing administration (upon hire)
