Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Services staff.
- Ensure staff performance aligns with regulations and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with Nursing Services Procedures Manual.
- Ensure staff performs the functions outlined in their job descriptions.
- Make written and oral reports/recommendations about shift activities.
- Coordinate nursing services with other resident services.
- Interpret department policies and procedures to staff, residents, and visitors.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university
- Three years of nursing experience in long-term care
- Supervisory experience
Preferred Skills
- Two years of supervisory experience preferred
- Working knowledge of computers including Internet and keyboard/mouse navigation
Requirements
Experience: Three years of nursing experience in long-term care
Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university or a graduate of an approved RN program
