Job Title: Supervisor, Nurse Medical Audit - Remote/Hybrid
Position: Supervises and monitors the daily activities of non-licensed and licensed staff
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: Minimum Salary 70,532.80
Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor the daily activities of non-licensed and licensed staff.
- Maintain contact with clinical departments to ensure accurate charge capture.
- Work with CDM analyst to maintain a compliant Charge Master.
- Collaborate with MBA staff to meet daily DNB goals.
- Contribute to meeting the Revenue Integrity Department’s and the hospital’s fiscal goals.
- Support Coding, HIM, Denials, and Utilization Management efforts by ensuring timely, accurate, and complete data entry in multiple information systems/databases.
- Assist Patient Accounts by reviewing, correcting, and submitting billing information for timely filing of bills and maintaining a low AR.
- Raise issues with legal, risk management, or compliance implications to the attention of Manager or Director promptly.
- Act as a key contact point for the Hospital and maintain excellent working relationships with TGH ancillary leadership, payers, physicians, physician advisors, and external Third-Party auditors.
- Participate in strategic planning for the department as a member of the leadership team.
- Interview applicants and make recommendations for hiring and salary for new employees.
- Complete performance appraisals in a timely manner and employ disciplinary actions as required.
- Represent the department on Committees as indicated.
- Perform job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital and the principles of quality improvement.

- Credentialed as a Certified Medical Audit Specialist (CMAS)
- Bachelor's degree in informatics
Requirements
Experience: 4 years auditing experience or 4 years recent clinical experience
Education: Florida LPN, Florida RN, or bachelor's degree in informatics
License & Certification:
- Florida LPN
- Florida RN
- Certified Medical Audit Specialist (CMAS) from AAMAS (preferred)
Schedule:
- Full-time
