Job Responsibilities
- Collect pertinent data and information relative to the healthcare consumer's health or situation.
- Analyze assessment data to determine actual and potential diagnoses or issues.
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or situation.
- Develop and modify a plan of care that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
- Implement the identified plan.
- Coordinate care delivery and transitions in care.
- Employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.
- Engage in professional role activities including leadership appropriate to education and position.
- Practice ethically and communicate effectively in all areas of practice.
- Collaborate with healthcare consumers and other key stakeholders in nursing practice.
- Integrate evidence and research findings into practice.
- Evaluate own and others' nursing practice.
- Utilize appropriate resources to sustain evidence-based nursing services.

Requirements
Experience: Foundational job description for all RNs; encouraged to advance through the SPIRE clinical advancement program.
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
License & Certification:
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Current BCLS certification or must obtain within one month of hire
