Job Responsibilities
- Implements and monitors patient care plans.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
- Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
- Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Performs initial and focused assessments.
- Identifies problems based on clinical judgment about the patient’s responses.
- Sets measurable and achievable goals in collaboration with the patient and family.
- Establishes daily goals with the patient and family.
- Formulates a plan of care.
- Implements nursing care according to the care plan.
- Ensures patient safety.
- Administers medications.
- Provides ordered treatments.
- Educates patient and family.
- Documents care in the healthcare record.
- Evaluates patient’s status and the effectiveness of nursing care.
- Manages the sequence, timing, and effectiveness of patient care from admission to discharge.
- Delegates and supervises care as needed.
- Prioritizes patient care tasks.

Experience: None
Education: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
License & Certification:
- Valid current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Preferred
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Preferred
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Preferred
