Job Responsibilities
- Collect pertinent data and information relative to the healthcare consumer's health or situation.
- Analyze assessment data to determine actual and potential diagnoses or issues.
- Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or situation.
- Develop and modify a plan of care that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
- Implement the identified plan.
- Coordinate care delivery and transitions in care.
- Employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
- Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes.
- Engage in professional role activities including leadership.
- Practice ethically and ensure culturally congruent practice.
- Communicate effectively in all areas of practice.
- Collaborate with healthcare consumers and other key stakeholders.
- Lead within the professional practice setting.
- Seek knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice.
- Integrate evidence and research findings into practice.

Requirements
Experience: 2 years of ICU experience required
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred
License & Certification:
- Licensed and a currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Current BCLS certification
