Job Responsibilities
- Plans and delivers nursing care to residents in accordance with current company, federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.
- Evaluates and monitors residents' condition and provides professional nursing care in accordance with care plan and doctor's orders.
- Provides input in the formulation and evaluation of standards of care in conjunction with facility interdisciplinary team members.
- Initiates emergency support measures when needed.
- Coordinates resident admission, transfer, and/or discharge including completing appropriate forms and required documentation in accordance with government regulations and company policies.
- Performs assessment functions including identification of changes in the resident's physical or psychological condition.
- Ensures that nursing history is present in medical record for all residents.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Direct care experience
- Nursing degree from accredited college
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in Colorado
- Current valid CPR certification
- Knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use
Preferred Skills
- 1-3 years' experience providing direct care to multiple patients/residents
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing environment

Education: Nursing degree from accredited college or graduation from approved RN program
License & Certification:
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in Colorado
- Current valid CPR certification
