Job Responsibilities
- Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in clinical care using evidence based practice.
- Ensure individualized care and coordinate care through effective partnerships.
- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care consistent with population-specific characteristics.
- Partner with patients and significant others for care planning and updates.
- Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care.
- Promote a respectful, inclusive clinical environment.
- Participate in performance improvement and research activities.
- Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and required education.
- Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses.
- Promote evidence-based practice and nursing research.
- Participate in the development of protocols and procedures in collaboration with care managers.
- Proactively plan for the care of patients across the care continuum.
- Comply with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Requirements
Experience: Minimum 5 years direct patient care experience
Education: Diploma from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
License & Certification:
- Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - Instructor
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Instructor or ACLS - Provisional
