Provide strategic leadership for resident care by managing, directing, and monitoring the nursing team to promote health and wellness.
Perform and document resident assessments and progress notes, evaluate changes in care needs, and complete Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other clinical providers to coordinate care and services for residents.
Serve as the CLIA Director according to federal and provincial requirements.
Partner with Neighborhood Coordinators for an integrated approach to wellness operations and resident care.
Collaborate with Sales partners to assess potential residents' appropriateness for move-in.
Oversee the community medication management program to promote resident safety.
Provide clinical training and education to nurses and care team members.
Track, trend, and report clinical quality data to identify risk and improve resident care outcomes.
Recruit, hire, and train clinical team members, managing their performance and engagement.
Complete staffing and scheduling according to operational and budgetary guidelines.
Manage the department budget and ensure alignment with Sunrise policies.
On-board new RCD leaders and department coordinators as needed.
Maintain compliance through supervision, coaching, and required training.

Two years RN experience, preferably in home health, assisted living, or long-term care environments.
Nursing management experience including hiring and performance management.
Knowledge of infection control practices and clinical performance data analysis.
Experience in quality and clinical process improvement.

Experience: Minimum two (2) years RN experience with at least one (1) year nursing management experience.

Education: Graduate of an accredited college or school of nursing.
