Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit.
Coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
Delivers individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
Acts as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees.
Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
Participates in hourly rounding.
Observes safety guidelines and safe work practices.
May be asked to be in charge for a shift(s).
Supervises other members of the healthcare team.

Experience: Minimum of two years of current Level III NICU experience or 1 year of acute care experience, will consider new graduate.

Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school; preferred BSN

License & Certification:

License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona
CPR
ACLS as applicable
PALS or ENPC for ER required within ninety days
NRP required upon orientation completion for specific departments
Wound-Ostomy Certification or Training in Wound Care and/or Ostomy Care for Wound Care specialties
