Pay: $119,000.00 - $132,000.00 DOE with bonus potential

Job Responsibilities

Lead and develop collaborative multidisciplinary wound care teams.
Travel to scheduled locations weekly for wound rounds and house calls in an assigned region.
Provide the highest quality skin and wound care services to patients.
Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic studies to assess changes to patients’ health care needs.
Perform bedside wound care skills including wound assessment, dressing application, pressure relief, pain/odor control, and minor surgical procedures.
Track the progress of wound healing and document promptly in UWH’s wound care EMR.
Develop treatment plans for skin and wound conditions based on patient needs and UWH’s Clinical Practice Guidelines.
Collaborate virtually with medical leadership, including board-certified physicians and surgeons.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP, FNP, ARNP, APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) licensed in working state.
Active Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) license.
1-2 years of wound care and/or surgical experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication.

Full-Time: 0.8FTE or Part-Time: 0.6FTE
