Job Responsibilities
- Administers nursing care in an outpatient facility or clinic.
- Takes patient history and performs initial physical evaluation of patient's condition.
- Provides basic medical care, including changing bandages, administering prescribed medication, and collecting specimens.
- May be responsible for patient triage.
- Performs patient assessment and documents in patient record.
- Utilizes the nursing process to adapt interventions for age-appropriate care.
- Implements and evaluates care interventions, delegates appropriately, and ensures documentation.
- Evaluates progress towards the prescribed plan of care and coordinates care with clinic providers.
- Educates patients and families regarding current health status, plan of care, and anticipated outcomes.
- Ensures ongoing patient satisfaction and customer service.
- Demonstrates efficient time management and prioritization skills.
- Maintains professional standards related to clinical practice, staffing, and continuing education.
- Practices fiscal responsibility and accountability.
- Maintains a clean and safe environment.
- Complies with the hospital’s Corporate Compliance Program.
- Must be free from governmental sanctions involving health care or financial practices.

Requirements
Experience: Experience in ambulatory clinic nursing preferred.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
License & Certification:
- Current Wyoming LPN license
- ACLS
- PALS
- CPI
- CPR
