Job Responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to address the physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs of patients.
Function as a member of the health-care team using sound nursing judgment.
Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care using focused assessment.
Perform selected nursing acts under the direction and supervision of licensed clinical team members.
Interact with patients, their families, and other staff consistent with organizational values.
Integrate evidence-based practice and clinical expertise to deliver optimal healthcare.
Partner with patients and their families to identify learning needs and provide education.
Provide safe, compassionate, and coordinated care based on respect for personal preferences.
Collaborate with nursing and inter-professional teams to achieve quality patient care.
Create an environment of belonging and inclusion, demonstrating problem-solving skills.
Participate in practice setting-based committees, including safety and quality improvement.
Monitor outcomes of care processes using data to continuously improve quality and safety.
Communicate with the healthcare team to seek guidance with patient care.
Work closely with registered nurses to implement safe, quality care for emergency department patients.
