Job Responsibilities

Enhance patient placement efficiency to maximize census potential.
Coordinate with physicians and nursing to place patients safely and appropriately.
Establish placement priorities in collaboration with all stakeholders.
Act as a resource and liaison between Physicians, Nursing, and Admitting.
Communicate with Inpatient Nurse Managers and Administrative Representatives regarding census and patient placement strategies.
Collaborate with operational staff to ensure safe, timely, and efficient patient flow.
Apply leadership principles and customer service standards in daily practice.
Employ problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
Actively participate in difficult or critical situations.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Skills

Critical care or Emergency Department experience as an RN

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in acute care nursing.

Education: Bachelor's in Nursing required; alternatively, either an additional 3 years of experience or active enrollment in a Bachelor's program with a defined end date.

License & Certification:

Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC

Schedule:

Every other week Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11 PM to 7:30 AM
One holiday shift required per year
