Job Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary customer service to patients, visitors and coworkers.
- Provide convenient, friendly patient care to all who come through the door seeking health-related services.
- Provide leadership, direction, and assistance during emergencies while maintaining a comforting and reassuring affect for patients.
- Perform medical assessment, treatment, management and follow-up of clinic patients including primary care, urgent care, occupational health, DOT physicals and workers compensation.
- Perform medical procedures including laceration repairs, nail removal, pap tests, injections, splinting and abscess incision and drainage.
- Establish and monitor a medically appropriate level of care for clinic patients.
- Oversee, direct and support onsite laboratory, x-rays, injections, and collections for direct access services, if applicable.
- Maintain clinical core competency.
- Work with Center Leadership and other staff to ensure operations are consistent with medical policy and professional standards.
- Cooperate and participate in the development, implementation and revision of policies affecting medical practice, quality of care and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in and assist with in-service and continuing education programs for physicians, nurses and other personnel.
- Recommend potential means of growth and development for new and/or existing services within the Center.
- Assure compliance with licensing, certification and accrediting bodies.
- Participate in development and presentation of education programs for staff.
- Represent the Company and clinic at internal and external meetings or events.
- Provide guidance to other medical staff to ensure quality professional services and patient satisfaction.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in urgent care or family medicine
- BLS certification
Requirements
Experience: 1 year of related experience as a Provider is preferred
Education:
License & Certification:
- State License as an APRN or Physician Assistant
- Certification as an APRN or Physician Assistant through the AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA
- DEA license, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- DOT certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire
- BLS certification
Schedule:
- Rotating schedule including weekdays and weekends
