Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the administrator on call and responsible for the overall operation at the local office
- Employ qualified Hospice personnel and provision of Hospice services
- Establish and maintain standards of high quality and customer service in compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines
- Implement and evaluate goals and objectives for Hospice services that meet and promote the standards of quality
- Maintain compliance with all legal rules and regulations
- Meet growth and development targets and actively establish market acceptance throughout the local service area
- Manage budgets and ensure organizational goals comply with conscientious care of patients
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Knowledge of hospice operations
- Understanding of state and federal regulations and compliance
- Strong regulatory affairs and governance requirements for healthcare
- Experience with Medicaid and Medicare reimbursement
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Professional judgment and good problem-resolution skills
- Ability to work independently
- Proficient with multiple online and computer applications
Preferred Skills
- 3-5 years of sales or management experience preferably in a Hospice or Healthcare environment
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field or equivalent experience and knowledge
- Experience in healthcare sales and/or management with P&L responsibility
