Job Responsibilities

Provide general supervision and coordinate operations of an engagement center nurse Triage program.
Ensure self and team have tools and coverage necessary to serve patients, particularly regarding patient care needs and triaging.
Complete tasks for various specialties and physicians across multiple locations following detailed protocols and nurse triage tools.
Communicate with team, delegate work, review quality, train employees, and monitor staff performance.
Act as a role model for team members and coach them to consistently deliver exceptional experiences for patients.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for an identified group of patients within the Patient Engagement Center.
Perform triage (telephone based), provide patient and family education, and manage test results.
Coordinate patient care needs, medication refills, and other assigned clinical tasks.

Requirements

Experience: Two years of clinical experience; prior experience as a lead or charge nurse preferred.

Education: Completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

License & Certification:

Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC
AHA Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider required within 90 days of hire
