Prepare patients for practitioner visits by rooming patients, obtaining and recording vital signs, height, weight, drug allergies, current medications, and presenting problems.
Chaperone and document patient exams, ensuring patient privacy and comfort.
Perform or assist with patient care, diagnostic tests, and clinical procedures according to training and scope of licensure.
Follow triage standing orders/protocols for routine nursing situations and refer complex, urgent, or emergent situations to an RN or provider.
Assist with point of care testing (CLIA-Waived Tests) and lab tests following established protocols/instructions.
Administer patient medications per written provider order and track/log medication usage according to policies.
Document procedures and interactions in patient’s medical records according to established procedures.
Organize exam rooms, including cleaning, upkeep, and restocking of supplies.
Prepare, clean and sterilize instruments and maintain related equipment.
Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and competence in communication with diverse patient populations.

Experience: One year of LPN work experience in a clinic setting OR two years of acute care LPN work experience preferred.

Education: Graduated from an accredited school of practical nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.

License & Certification:

Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the Washington State Board of Nursing
Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification
