Support the Nurse Manager by overseeing the day-to-day operational activities of assigned unit(s).
Apply principles of leadership and human relations in the overall supervision and coordination of patient care and personnel.
Maintain unit specific standards of practice based on current literature and professional standards.
Assume additional responsibilities as needed in the absence of the Nurse Manager.

Interpersonal skills to interact with hospital personnel.
Analytical skills for preparing nursing care plans and statistical reports.
Proficient in basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email.

Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail during stressful situations.

Experience: A minimum of 2 years of clinical practice required.

Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing is required; Master's degree is preferred.

License & Certification:

Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC.
