Job Responsibilities

Oversee clinical instruction by fostering and maintaining academic-practice partnerships with clinical partners.
Conduct site evaluations and gather feedback to evaluate clinical facilities and curricular experiences.
Partner with the Nursing Lab Manager to plan nursing lab experiences that utilize equipment effectively.
Manage Clinical Coordinator(s) to achieve expected outcomes.
Lead workshops to develop faculty teaching skills.
Review and evaluate delivery of core nursing curriculum, ensuring adherence to performance standards and providing constructive feedback for growth.
Develop relationships with new faculty, providing resources and guidance for their success.
Address student concerns, complaints, and disciplinary issues per College policies.
Foster an environment of academic excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement within the nursing program.
Promote student success by advising students and facilitating communication.

Earned doctorate (EdD, Ph.D., or DNP)
Certified Nurse Educator certification

Requirements

Experience: Three or more years’ experience as a professional registered nurse and three or more years’ experience teaching full-time in a registered nursing program.

Education: Master’s of Science in Nursing degree from an accredited institution.

License & Certification:
