Pay: $5000 sign-on bonus for external candidates. Competitive salary based on experience.
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the foot and ankle specialty, including pre-operative, post-operative, and general care.
- Assist with clinical assessments, diagnostic testing, and treatment plans for foot and ankle conditions.
- Administer medications, injections, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients on procedures, recovery expectations, and preventive care for foot and ankle health.
- Assist in wound care, dressing changes, and post-surgical follow-up for patients recovering from foot and ankle surgeries.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate any changes or concerns with the clinical team.
- Collaborate with orthopedic specialists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Current and unrestricted RN license in Iowa
- Experience in orthopedic nursing, specifically in foot and ankle care
- Strong clinical skills with experience in wound care and post-operative recovery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills
- Specialty certification in orthopedic nursing or related fields
