Job Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of licensed personnel.
- Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
- Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
- Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
- Performs duties and responsibilities in alignment with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Current state LPN licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Basic Life Support certification
- LPN-IV certification
Preferred Skills
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
- Completion of Six Assessment & Care Modules
Requirements
Experience: Can be new or experienced LPN
Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
License & Certification:
- Current state LPN licensure
- Basic Life Support certification
- LPN-IV Certification
