Coordinate with interprofessional teams to manage changing priorities.
Mentor colleagues in acquiring clinical knowledge, skills, and judgment.
Participate in the development and improvement of patient care planning processes.
Lead interprofessional teams to collaborate and consult effectively.
Design innovations to improve healthcare outcomes.
Participate in collaborative planning for safe, high-quality, patient-centered healthcare.
Adhere to policies promoting patient health and safety.
Advocate for healthcare consumers' rights.
Engage healthcare consumers and team members in culturally sensitive data collection.
Integrate global and environmental knowledge into the assessment process.
Address cultural situations and recognize personal bias.
Disseminate educational findings with colleagues.
Achieve higher levels of education and demonstrate commitment to lifelong learning.
Identify resources for ethical dilemmas and advance ethical nursing practice.
Demonstrate competencies as a charge nurse and/or precepting new staff or nursing students.

Experience: Two (2) years of nursing experience.

Education: ADN, Diploma, BSN or higher degree.

License & Certification:

Current unencumbered licensure with the WV Board of Registered Professional Nurses or appropriate state board.
Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
