Job Responsibilities

Provide total care for residents by monitoring their condition and needs
Follow physician orders to administer medications and treatments
Ensure narcotic policies and procedures are followed
Monitor for side effects and report any changes in residents' conditions
Oversee the nursing assistant-registered (NAR) staff to ensure care plans are followed
Complete documentation accurately for admissions and discharges
Report any bruises, skin tears, or neglect observed in residents
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPPA regulations
Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

Required Skills

Core Skills

RN licensure with the MN Board of Nursing
Current CPR certification
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Effective communication skills
Dependability and professionalism

Preferred Skills

Experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing

Requirements

Experience: Preferred experience in medical, surgical, or geriatric nursing but not required

Education:

License & Certification:

RN licensure with the MN Board of Nursing
Current CPR certification

Schedule:

8-hour shifts
Working every other weekend
