Job Responsibilities
- Provides direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychological, physical, and general aspects of care.
- Utilizes the nursing process in patient care.
- Meets the communication and education needs of patients and families.
- Provides care that reflects initiative and responsibility indicative of professional expectations.
- Communicates in a professional, positive, and assertive manner congruent with Mercy Service Standards.
- Communicates with physicians and other team members about changes in patients' conditions.
- Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
- Floats to the free-standing ED locations (Bellavista & Springdale) and Rogers when an emergency need arises.
- Orients to each site.

Requirements
Experience:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Associate Degree, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, or Diploma Nursing Program)
License & Certification:
- Registered Nurse current Arkansas license
- Current Basic Life Support through the American Heart Association
