Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the direct provision of patient care.
- Assist the manager with daily operations including coordination of patient care/outcomes.
- Help allocate human and fiscal resources.
- Maintain communication during shifts via staff meetings/huddles.
- Collaborate with the manager to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
- Round on patients, teammates, and physicians to gauge satisfaction and care appropriateness.
- Delegate care elements to appropriate healthcare workers.
- Assist in identifying expected outcomes for continuity of care.
- Evaluate progress towards goals and disseminate information to teammates.
- Perform nursing care, assist with treatments and procedures, and administer medications.
- Coordinate management of patient flow and staffing based on volume and acuity needs.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- RN licensure in appropriate state.
- Critical thinking.
- Clinical supervision.
Preferred Skills
- Management experience.
- Professional certification (clinical or leadership).
Requirements
Experience: Minimum two years nursing experience preferred.
Education: BSN required; RN candidates without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year.
License & Certification:
- Current RN licensure
- BLS required
- Professional certification (clinical or leadership) within 1 year of eligibility.
Schedule:
- Full Time, 36 hours per week, 7p-7a
