Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the direct provision of patient care.
- Assist the manager with daily operations including coordination of patient care/outcomes.
- Allocate human and fiscal resources effectively.
- Maintain communications and oversee patient throughput.
- Support program development and oversight.
- Conduct patient, physician, and employee rounding.
- Assist in selection, development, and retention of staff.
- Conduct clinical supervision and performance appraisal.
- Implement performance improvement activities and service recovery.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agency requirements.
- Maintain clinical and professional competency.
Required Skills

- Previous management experience
- BSN degree
- Professional certification in clinical or leadership
Requirements
Experience: Minimum two years nursing experience preferred.
Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN required.
License & Certification:
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state
- BLS certification
- Professional certification within one year of eligibility
