Job Responsibilities
- Performs the Nursing Process including assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice.
- Provides relationship-based, patient-centered care that adapts to cultural diversity.
- Partners with patients and significant others, ensuring their goals are the focus of the care plan.
- Coordinates the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care.
- Demonstrates teamwork and collaboration in the professional care delivery model.
- Participates in performance improvement and research activities to promote safe, quality patient care.
- Completes all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education.
- Serves as a preceptor and mentor for other professional nurses and staff.
- Promotes evidence-based practice and nursing research.
- Plans for the care of patients across the care continuum.
- Participates in the development of protocols and procedures for best practice outcomes.

Requirements
Experience: Less than 1 year completion of accredited/approved school of nursing
Education: Diploma from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's Degree (BSN) preferred
License & Certification:
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
