Job Responsibilities
- Provide care for a patient ratio of 6 patients to 1 nurse.
- Manage patients on a medical/telemetry floor taking post-op CABG/open heart patients.
- Assist with patients post-cath-lab interventions (stents, AIF, etc.).
- Supervise and adjust medications for patients needing monitoring.
- Titrate cardiac drips (e.g., amiodarone, cardizem) as needed.
- Monitor patients with varying acuity levels, from independent to complex cases.
Required Skills

- Compassionate patient care
- Clinical nursing skills
- Ability to manage cardiac medications
Preferred Skills
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
- Experience in telemetry nursing
Requirements
Experience: At least one year previous experience in clinical nursing preferred.
Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing required.
License & Certification:
- Current licensure by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing
- Current Basic Life Support Certification through an American Heart Association approved program
