Create a dynamic, learner-centered environment using a variety of teaching methods based on educational theory and evidence-based practices.
Model reflective and critical thinking; coach and mentor students.
Assist students with developing learning plans to achieve course objectives.
Maintain competence in subjects being taught.
Confer with colleagues to assure course integrity across programs.
Prepare and review written examinations, papers, and student projects.
Supervise independent study projects as needed and evaluate learner performance.
Notify Course Manager of at-risk students or unusual occurrences.
Supervise or teach clinical rotations in various settings and document student progress.
Conduct scholarly activities in accordance with evaluation agreements.
Participate in faculty and university meetings and committees.
Provide service to the profession and community.
Clarify nursing curriculum and programmatic requirements with students.
Increase student awareness of available educational resources.
Refer students to institutional and community support services.

Experience teaching diverse students at the baccalaureate or higher degree level
Experience working with leadership in healthcare and academic institutions
