Job Responsibilities

Contribute to quality nursing care through process improvement techniques and multidisciplinary collaboration to demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care delivery.
Manage efficient flow of patients including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arranging testing and admissions.
Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
Maintain and review patients’ records including posting tests and examination results.
Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
Incorporate knowledge of patients’ age-specific development and cultural diversity into the plan of care.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Registered Nurse licensed in the state of practice or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Strong nursing and patient care skills

Preferred Skills

1-3 years’ experience as a registered nurse
Behavioral Health Experience
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification (must be completed within 90 days of hire)

Requirements

Experience: 1-3 years’ experience as a registered nurse is preferred

Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required
