Job Responsibilities

Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients.
Evaluate the patient's condition continually.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times.
Assist physicians in procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques.
Provide comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation.
Conduct assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Active RN license in the state
BLS and ACLS required
Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
Ability to prioritize and organize workload
Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Preferred Skills

2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
PALS if required by the center

Requirements

Experience: 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred

Education: Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing

License & Certification:

Active RN license in the state
BLS
ACLS
PALS if required by the center
