Job Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day clinical operation of designated work unit(s).
- Provide guidance and support to clinical and support staff to ensure quality patient or client focused care is delivered.
- Provide professional patient care utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with the patient, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Assist in high-risk procedures, surgery, and/or provide patient education in specific units.
- Ensure appropriate care is delivered.
- Support leadership through hiring and development of staff, teaching, community involvement, participation in committees and research.
- May have clinical responsibilities (i.e., patient assignments) in smaller work units.

Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing practice or progressive leadership experience required.
Education: Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate nursing degree program; master's preferred.

- Basic Life Support (BLS) competency (as applicable)
