Overseeing and supervising daily operations within the Cardiac Care Center.
Reacting effectively to unplanned circumstances while assuring quality services and patient directed care.
Coordinating and collaborating with stakeholders such as multidisciplinary teams and internal/external customers.
Identifying LEAN projects and selecting tools to review and evaluate current process states.
Managing budgets effectively and being aware of any variances greater than 5% by Director.
Directly managing personnel resources from hiring to employment separation.
Supervising staff through orientation, training, and annual performance reviews.
Coordinating the unit's customer service indicators including preparation, analysis, and submission of required reports.
Completing daily patient rounds and staff rounds to provide updates on needed improvements and successes.
Updating and communicating outcomes and information to staff during meetings or huddles.
Establishing standards, providing training, and enforcing compliance of departmental hospital customer service program.
Recognizing staff members identified by families to promote a culture of service excellence.
Identifying, promoting, and facilitating educational programs to train staff in related skills, values, and career development.

Experience: 3-5 years RN experience with prior Pediatric Cardiology / CICU experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree BSN Degree from an accredited school of nursing

License & Certification:

Registered Nurse RN Licensure within the State of Florida or Multi-State Enhanced Nursing License Compact (eNLC)
CPR BLS - American Heart Association BLS
