Job Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Psychiatric Center.
- Ensure an adequate number of trained staff are present on each shift.
- Meet the medical and psychiatric needs of patients, including medication administration and mental status assessment.
- Manage patient care aspects such as admissions, discharges, nursing treatment planning, and unit safety.
- Co-chair the Incident Review Committee as part of the Quality Improvement process.
- Lead in regulatory compliance and preparation for OMH, DNV, and DOH surveys.
- Provide guidance and supervision to nursing staff, conducting performance evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to safety principles and Columbia Memorial Hospital regulations.
- Participate in staff training and development.

Requirements
Experience: Minimum of five years progressive responsibility in nursing; psychiatric experience preferred.

- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, day shift.
