Job Responsibilities

Support patients/residents with activities of daily living.
Assist patients/residents with personal hygiene.
Take vital signs and height and weight measurements.
Feed and ambulate patients/residents according to specific procedures.
Maintain patient/resident's rooms in a clean and orderly condition.
Observe and report changes in patient/resident conditions.
Orient patients/families to unit and instruct patient on safety measures.
Assist with clerical work such as answering phones, entering data and maintaining medical records.
Maintain stock supply items in inventory management.
Perform duties as outlined in the scope of Nurse Aide I as per North Carolina Board of Nursing Nurse Aide I Tasks List.
Perform technical tasks with appropriate training such as administering a 12-Lead Electrocardiogram test and routine venipuncture.

Experience:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required for new hires on or after 7/22/2018
