Job Responsibilities

Coordinate, supervise, and implement patient care based on competence, professional expertise, knowledge, and evidence-based practice.
Practice autonomously, consistent with professional standards, Nurse Practice Act, and hospital job description.
Assess patient/family health problems and resources.
Take a leadership role in the development, implementation, and outcomes evaluation of a plan for nursing care.
Provide professional nursing care and interventions to acutely ill adult patient populations.
Work collaboratively with other disciplines for quality outcomes.
Participate in weekly patient care conferences, using a multidisciplinary approach.
Encourage patient-family centered care.

Required Skills

Chemo Certification through ONS (within 6 months of hire)

Requirements

Experience: One (1) year acute care experience

Education: ADN, Diploma, BSN or equivalent

License & Certification:

Current AZ State RN License in good standing
Current American Heart Association BLS card
American Heart Association ACLS card within 6 months of hire
