Job Responsibilities

  • Utilize specialized plan-of-care intervention and serve as a patient-care innovator.
  • Shape exceptional patient journeys every day.
  • Leverage skills and cutting-edge technology to impact patient wellbeing.
  • Establish authentic personalized relationships with patients and their support systems.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other team members to provide optimal patient care.

Required Skills

Core Skills

  • Current VA (or Multi-state) RN license
  • Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • ACLS certification (within 90 days of hire)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Certification (ENPC) required or within six months of hire
  • Emergency Nurse Association courses

Preferred Skills

  • Trauma Nurse Certification Course (TNCC)
  • Minimum of two years supervisory/management or Charge Nurse experience in a patient care setting.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of one year of RN clinical experience in an emergency department required.

Education: Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor's degree preferred.

License & Certification:

  • Current VA (or Multi-state) RN license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • ACLS certification (within 90 days of hire)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Certification (ENPC) required or within six months of hire
