Job Responsibilities
- Provide high interaction with patients and new hire clinicians during hospice visits.
- Facilitate the learning experience for preceptees to ensure competent performance in required responsibilities.
- Mentor, coach, and role model correct behaviors for new hire nurses.
- Perform patient home visits in accordance with physicians’ orders.
- Orient new nurses on hospice clinical policies and procedures, documentation, technology, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in oncology, hospital Staff RN, Med Surg, PACU, Float pool, ER, critical care, acute care, cardiac, geriatric, admissions, wound care, telemetry, or travel nursing.
Requirements
Experience: 2+ years of nursing experience in hospice and/or home health.
Education:
License & Certification:
- RN license in the state of requested employment (or eligibility to obtain).
- Current CPR certification.
