Job Responsibilities
- Supervises all aspects of patient care and activities of professional staff and allied health personnel.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, laws, policies, and procedures applicable to hospice and Medicare/Medicaid.
- Available on-site during business hours and by telephone when off-site; available after hours as necessary.
- Directs day-to-day operations of the agency and drives the Care Management Process.
- Receives daily reports on patients from staff, including review of patient care paperwork and event reporting.
- Reviews monthly financials to ensure quality patient care is delivered cost-effectively.
- Participates in QAPI planning and processes, including chart audits and patient/family complaints follow-up.

Requirements
Experience: Minimum of three years in healthcare leadership; one year in hospice or health care delivery.
Education: Must be a licensed physician, RN, social worker or hold a Bachelor's degree with relevant experience.
License & Certification:
- Current CPR certification
- Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance
- State-specific requirements for nursing or healthcare positions
