Pay: $90,399.49-$117,519.34 (based on a 40-hour work week)

Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a clinical resource and policy expert for patient care.
- Respond to emergency clinical patient care needs, including all codes.
- Implement de-escalation and service recovery strategies to support patient and staff safety and satisfaction.
- Collaborate with admitting and hospital leadership to enhance patient flow.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in clinical care, decision making, and problem solving.
- Supervise SWAT LPN staff during shifts.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to achieve optimal patient care and escalate care when needed.
- Support staff safety through BBF, Fit for Duty, de-escalation, and disciplinary action.
- Manage staffing resources to ensure adequate staffing and efficient workflows.
- Coordinate operational issues to maintain patient safety and efficiency of care.
- Liaison between providers, management staff, unit staff, and external customers.
- Support the professional growth and knowledge of novice nurses through teaching, coaching, and mentoring.

Requirements
Experience: 5 years of Nursing experience required; Critical Care Nursing experience strongly preferred; Charge Nurse Experience Required.
Education: BSN required; Masters in nursing or relevant degree preferred.
License & Certification:
- NYS Licensure as a Registered Nurse (Current licensure in good standing)
- ACLS Certification required
- Nursing Professional Certification preferred (obtain within 12 months)
