Job Responsibilities

Provide delegated age appropriate care in a culturally and ethnically sensitive manner.
Assist patients with tasks outlined in their clinical competency assessment related to basic nursing skills, personal care skills, and basic restorative services.
Practice and perform skills learned during CNA training and certification or basic nursing courses.
Provide continuous safety observation as required.
Report to the Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager and the RNs on duty.
Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of one acute care medical/surgical clinical rotation.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

License & Certification:

AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider (BLS) or approved equivalent within 90 days of hire.
